Previously, Israel managed the R&D organization of Pudding Media, provider of contextual advertisement solution for speech solution providers.
Prior to Pudding Media, Israel worked as a director of R&D for Shopping.com (acquired by eBay, NASDAQ:EBAY). At shopping, Israel initially led the search activity and later on the classification and automatic content generation activity.
Israel also served as a director of NMS activity at Kerenix Inc., a startup company aimed to develop an optic IP router.
Israel holds a Ph.D. in biology from Bar-Ilan University. Additionally, Israel was a post doctoral researcher in the field of computational neurobiology at the University of Texas medical school (Houston, US).
